This end-to-end service enables high-plex protein profiling across intact tissue sections while preserving the spatial relationships between cells, biomarkers, and tissue structures. Researchers can characterize complex cellular environments using multiplex panels containing 10 to 60 protein markers.
Services are available for FFPE and frozen tissue samples, including human, mouse, tissue microarray, and other preclinical specimens. Support is available from panel design and sample preparation through imaging, quality control, data delivery, and optional expert pathology review.

Service Workflow
1. Project Consultation and Panel Design
Provide information about your tissue type, species, disease area, study objectives, and biomarkers of interest. The scientific team will help determine whether an existing panel or a customized marker panel is the best fit for your project.
2. Sample Submission
Submit FFPE blocks, unstained slides, frozen sections, tissue microarrays, or other compatible tissue samples. Shipping and sample-handling guidance can be provided before project initiation.
3. Assay Execution and Imaging
Samples are processed using an Akoya PhenoCycler-Fusion workflow. Multiplex staining, imaging, and quality-control procedures are performed to generate high-resolution spatial protein data.
4. Data Quality Review
Image quality, tissue integrity, staining performance, and marker-specific results are reviewed before delivery. Optional pathology review may be added when scientific interpretation or study reporting is required.
5. Digital Data Delivery
Clients receive secure access to high-resolution, analysis-ready spatial imaging files and associated project deliverables.
